911 Made Simple - Planes can't enter steel buildings

One_2.gif 9/11/01: Downtown Manhattan is attacked by nuclear weapons. It remains a cancer zone to this day. In addition, the TV news networks aired fake video of animated planes striking the World Trade Center on 9/11/01. The fact that the TV networks aired fake planes on TV is the most important fact of this time.

Fake, Fake, Fake
911 "plane"!

Flight_175_Hoax

Two_2.gif

Despite heavy censorship, The 911 Hoax is finally getting out.

However, New York Metro is running out of time. The 911 Hoax has to break soon. The US economy is teetering. (Two billion a day on wars are taking a toll.) New York Metro has to wake up now about the phony 9/11 planes or martial law will come to the United States.

Three_2.gif Join us! We're the ones who know that aluminum planes can't enter steel buildings like ghosts! We're the ones who know that the core columns in the WTC would have shredded any plane that managed somehow to pass the exterior steel walls.

Four_2.gif Stand up and be heard! No planes struck the World Trade Center.

ATP tennis needs to ban the oversized racquet. it is very unsightly seeing these guys (e.g., Nadal, Roddick, et. al.) swinging those large snowshoes.

Nadal's game is particularly unsightly. what a snooze it is watching him hitting one heavy ball after another. Yuck!

Some more thoughts about this great Wimbledon final. the first set, which Federer won in a tie-break, was as a great as any tennis set i've seen (since 1980). it was a very scary moment for Federer fans when Hawkeye gave Nadal the set point back in the tie-break.

the second set was great for Nadal fans. i think this is he hit a wrong-footed winner while falling down. he also had some amazing passes from well behind the baseline.

the third set was another Federer tie-break, played at a very high level by both.

the fourth set was fascinating because suddenly it appeared that Federer had lost his mind. he was down 0-4, 0-30, and appeared to be on the verge of being bageled. Nadal was playing at the top of his mighty game. Federer seemed on the verge of tears when he asked the umpire if Hawkeye--which had given about four crucial points to Nadal--could be turned off.

the fifth set was a classic. Federer recovered from 15-40 twice, serving like Pete Sampras did in the most crucial points. How does Federer, who serves well but never spectacularly, manage to channel Sampras at this time? how does this man become the greatest tennis player ever when he needs to?

the final moment was as thrilling as when Borg finally collapsed in 1980. Federer hits an overhead and collapses in tears immediately afterwards. this was a very memorable winning moment for 2007 sports.

what I find interesting here is that 'Switzerland' means 'Federer'. for the Swiss to do anything in DC it will come from Federer winning all three times he steps on the court against the other side.

what's even more amazing is that Fed can do it. he is so good that he can take on the rest of the world and win.

Roger Federer does it again! he's the 2006 US open champ. He defeated Andy Roddick in four sets.

Federer is astonishing. words fail in describing how good he is. His form is perfection. His ability to focus and deliver under the toughest circumstances is amazing.

congrats, Roger.

Too bad Borg and Mac didn't predict that someone (i.e., Pete) would come along after them and stake a claim as the GOAT based on total slams, with the Australian open a slam.

imagine if Mac didn't waste so much time with Davis Cup. Imagine if he had went after the AO like DC.

Imagine if Borg didn't quit the game when he was clearly the #2 player in the world. Imagine if Borg had played the AO. Imagine also if he could have had a USO final under afternoon sun, instead of at night.

Those two could have both topped Emerson if they only knew that doing so was important to their respective legacies.

i finally looked at the Mac/Borg USO final on a DVD that someone sent me from RST. It sure was an amazing match. It wasn't as good as the 1980 W final, but the shotmaking was dazzling from both players.

Borg's chances in the fifth set swung on a bad call in the game that he was broken in. (how's that for saying I can't recall which game he was broken?) Borg stared pretty icily at the head linesman, non-verbally saying Mac's ball was past the baseline. Mac began to really step up his game following that call and finally took the title.

CBS's TV coverage was unique in that there were very few replays. they didn't show a replay of the ball that Borg was certain was out. (Today they would have shown the replay 20 times.) There also were very few replays during the course of the match. Not like today's finals where almost every shot is replayed.

Was tennis more exciting when there were very few replays? this 1980 final between Mac and Borg was a lot more exciting than the 2005 final between Fed and Agassi. You had to pay attention to every shot because the neworks weren't replaying many of them.

Questions about 2006:

...these questions come to mind about the upcoming 2006 ATP mens' tennis season.

1. will Federer win all four majors?
2. how many majors will Fed win?
3. will Fed hold on to his year ending #1 title?
4. will Nadal defend his FO title?
5. will anyone win a slam who has never won one before?
6. if #5, then whom?
7. will Nadal improve on his 2005?
8. will Hewitt, Roddick or Safin beat Federer in a match?
9. will Gasquet make it to the 2006 Masters Cup?
10. will the ATP modify the schedule at all?

before this Masters Cup began I was seriously starting to think that the YEC (year ending championship) was comparable to a Grand Slam, particularly the lightly-regarded Australian Open. However, now that David Nalbandian has defeated the Swiss Master, Roger Federer, to claim the prize, it seems clearly not to be an event that compares to a Slam.

for one thing, double-elimination sucks. So, even though Federer defeated Nalbandian in the same tournament, Nalbandian takes the championship for taking Fed out in the final.

for another, inviting only eight players to compete sucks also. that's because in a real Grand Slam you occasionally have huge surprises. Boris Becker winning Wimbledon as a teenager, or Marat Safin's remarkable run at the 2004 Australian Open (before losing to Federer in the final).

the Masters Cup is a nice event but it definitely doesn't compare with the Grand Slams of tennis.

Congratulations David Nalbandian for a job well done.

Federer opened up his Masters Cup defense with a win over David Nalbandian. Considering Fed hasn't played for two months due to injury this is a nice win for him.

it will be *very* interesting to see a Fed-Nadal Masters Cup final, assuming they meet. (It seems likely considering Safin, Hewitt and Roddick are all out.)

Nadal could take Fed in this final.

in recent months my tennis game is elevating. it is a really cool feeling beating an old rival who has owned me for years. i'm also undefeated so far in my 3.5 league. (However, tough players for me are looming so i may come down to Earth very soon.)

during the stretch that my tennis game has improved i've been trying yoga. i'm a novice at it. however, i think i'm starting to do some of the moves without looking like a total dork. (although, i still look like a dork but that is another story.)

when I get into tight situations on the tennis court I think about the breathing exercises we do in yoga. so far it is working for me.

So, if your tennis game is stuck in one gear and you're looking for a solution you might want to try some yoga. it is working for me.

i downloaded a (tiny) video clip of Fed defeating Sampras at Wimbledon in 2001, the only meeting between these two great lions of the game. They show Federer beating defending-champion Sampras by employing serve & volley, the predominant way of playing W in 2001.

However, Federer's best game is from the baseline, with opportunistic net rushing. His best game has never been S/V. This is different than Pete, who started out more from the baseline. As Pete became more and more of a pure S/Ver he had more success.

So, if Federer can beat Pete, when he's defending champ at W, using a style of play that doesn't particularly suit him, how would Fed not be favored to beat Pete on the much slower grass courts at today's W? In other words, if they played the 2001 match today Pete would be staying back more, as would be Fed. Who besides Whisper would imagine Pete dethroning the Swiss Master under those circumstances? Not me, for sure. I can even see Pete getting knocked off by Hewitt before he gets to the final.

Of course, this is just one man's opinion.

curious how from 1985 to the present all the USO champs are righties. From 1974-1984 they were lefties.

this is clearly the age of right-handed domination of the USO. However, if any lefty on tour can end the 20 year streak Nadal can.

Still, I'm rooting for Fed to get #6.

Go Fed!

Federer has a pretty cool looking site. check out the current Wimbledon temperature in the top left corner! Also, I like the virtual tour (i.e., Roger's Tour Tracker). Fed sure moves around a lot during the year.

there's a ton of cool info for Roger's fans here. this is really cool.

Will Federer win his third consecutive Wimbledon? He's still the best grass-court player in the world. Only Roddick, Gasquet and Ancic seem capable of beating him on that surface.

i read Fed discussing somewhere on RogerFederer.com how he had very early success playing tennis. He describes picking the game up at around eight. By ten he was one of the best juniors in Switzerland.

In contrast Sampras is described as having immense talent as a junior without much success. (He lost a lot to Chang.) His parents hired at least one sports psychologist to try to get him to improve his results. Obviously it worked.

Roger is a prodigy. He looks at life very simply. He handles his success by being dull but with an endearing simplicity.

Pete has always been tightly wound. He never had a real comfort level being a tennis God.

Assuming that nothing bad happens to him I think that Federer will ultimately be regarded as better than Pete. This is so even if Fed doesn't reach the coveted 14 slams.

It seems like Fed is far beyond Sampras emotionally and psychologically at age 24. Fed makes his mastery of his peers seem simple; while Sampras was kind of struggling with it.

Then again, Fed has a long way to go before the Fed-Pete argument needs to be made.

a lot of people have already seen this web page. I find it fascinating that Fed owns Safin and Roddick (6-1 and 8-1 respectively). Meanwhile, his head to head results with Hewitt and Ferrero (8-7, 4-3) are much closer.

maybe it is a simplification but it seems like Fed really thrives on pace and in playing slower players than he is. He can block Roddick's heat back without much difficulty. Fed moves so brilliantly that he puts himself in perfect position after blocking Andy's firepower.

However, Hewitt and Ferrero are both known for their consistency and their wheels.

the natural question that comes to mind is whether as Fed gets older he will be able to dominate the top ten like he does? When Fed slows down a bit the younger players that come along will seem more like rabbits to him across the net.

I think Fed is the greatest sportsman in the world. i hope he manages to hold on to #1 for a long time.

Tennis is my main athletic passion. I play in a winter league and during the summer I play about 5 times a week.

I played pretty well last night (indoors). My footwork wasn't so hot, but I had good groundstrokes.
