Hello, a freind and me are going to cancun in JULy, he is 17 and i am 19 , the concern is if he will be carded at the clubs and bars. does anyone out there know if he will? have you been in this situation in cancun? let me know id really appreciate it. also, is JUly an okay time of year to go even though it will be a little hotter? thanx alot

BURGLARIZED AT CASA DEL CIELO PUERTO MORELOS


VACATIONERS BEWARE

We rented Casa Del Cielo (a villa in Puerto Morelos) for a week in mid June. The 1st night, we were burglarized, thieves entered the house while my family and I slept. Took all our $$, travel docs, credit cards, etc… Ironically, we chose this place because the owner’s advertisement claimed there was security on the premises. What a joke!

Yeah, right, security. Wasn’t around that night…. The property manager then tells us it was OUR fault (said we left a door unlocked-NONSENSE.) Owners less than interested, and the Police were even less help.

If you choose to vacation in this area, you may wish to think again. However, if you do rent this villa, you and the others in your party can take turns standing guard at night…….

I need to know about the rules down ther like:

1. What isthe drinking age
2. What are the clubs like an the ages allowed
3. Are ther any good parties that happen all of the time
4. And what are some things to do besides party and the ocean
3 of my other cousins and I with my brother are going next summer and I wanted to know how we should spend our time during the day. We will prolly go for a week.

I need HELP please!!! If anyone is visiting Cancun soon and staying at the GRAN CARIBE REAL please email me. One of my friends works there and I lost his email address. When I try calling the hotel, they don't understand what or who I am looking for because I can't speak to them in Spanish and they don't understand English that well. And to all of you guys who are going or thinking about staying at that hotel, it is a beautiful hotel and I wish I could go back. The service is wonderful, the food is good, the Entertainment is excellent and the pool and outside area is gorgeous. You'll love it!!!
