If the whole world is so keen to help these people, why havent they offered shelter to people who obviously do not belong in Israel? They were refugees who suddenly had a long history in israel.

It is no surprise that arabs act this way. Their newspapers, books, classes and so forth are so controlled and corrupt they have no choice. I read that a specific jewish holiday (In a saudi paper) was used for the Jews to spend the night out sucking blood from muslim and christain children.

I'm rambling, but i hope some people start to look a little deeper than saying that Israelis are occupuying "palestinian" land.

I see plenty of sympathy for Palestinians from Jews. I see no sympathy for the Jews given by any members of Islam PUBLICLY. All i see is jews getting their heads chopped off and then CHILDREN AND WOMEN dancing in the streets. just to add a little to goldstars post, the palestinians have no history beyond the creation of israel. The "Occupied territorys" were never under the control of palestinian people. They were controlled by the british, for the large majourity.

One of the anti-semetic posts here were to look beyond what you see. I think thats a great point. 218 Palestinians were killed in conflict with israeli's. 220 were killed within the palestinians alone (and thats just terrorists reporting, why would they make themselves look bad?)

Pregnant women, children, teenagers, are raised, beaten, sold to groups to be blown up. The schools do not contain so much as math or literature, but recitation of the Koran (No implication that religon is bad) and how to obtain the blood of the evil jew. The evil jew, who took land for whom? Egyptian and syrian refugees? Thats truly what palestinians are.

Be careful when you speak. Make sure you actually know what you are talking about.
Is it placing children in harm's way when guards at a checkpoint forbid the movement of a couple trying to get to a hospital to deliver their twins only to have their babies die as a result of it?

The Israelis cannot want peace. If they actually achieve peace, they will be forced to deal with the settlement issue on the West Bank. This will be a political and social nightmare that will divide the Israelis. Just look at the difficulty they are having just trying to move settlers out of the Gaza Strip. They are contemplating $500,000 per family to move them. In the West Bank, that will not be feasible. Believe me Peace for the Israeli Govt. may bring them more problems than the current situation. The extremist settlers in the occupied territories already killed Rabin. They will not be removed without a fight. The Israeli gov't would rather continue to beat up on defenseless Palestinans than deal with settlers.
There is plenty of blood on the Israelis hands as well.

Very sad indeed. To realise that you are in fact just another Arab, well, that would mean that you in fact should be wondering why all those "friendly" arab countries didn't let you in in the first place.

My beloved son Arik, my own flesh and blood, was murdered by Palestinians. My tall, blue-eyed, golden-haired son who was always smiling with the innocence of a child and the understanding of an adult. My son. If to hit his killers, innocent Palestinian children and other civilians would have to be killed, I would ask the security forces to wait for another opportunity.
My beloved son Arik was murdered by a Palestinian. Should the security forces have information of this murderer's whereabouts, and should it turn out that he was surrounded by innocent children and other Palestinian civilians, then - even if the security forces knew that the killer was planning another murderous attack and they now had the choice of curbing a terror attack that would kill innocent Israeli civilians, but at the cost of hitting innocent Palestinians, I would tell the security forces not to seek revenge.
I would rather have the finger that pushes the trigger or the button that drops the bomb tremble before it kills my son's murderer, than for innocent civilians to be killed. I would say to the security forces: do not kill the killer. Rather, bring him before an Israeli court. You are not the judiciary. Your only motivation should not be vengeance, but the prevention of any injury to innocent civilians.
Ethics are not black and white - they are all white. Ethics have to be free of vengefulness and rashness. Every act must be carefully weighed before a decision is made to see whether it meets strict ethical criteria. Our ethics are hanging by a thread, at the mercy of every soldier and politician.
It is unethical to kill innocent Israeli or Palestinian women and children. It is also unethical to control another nation and to lead it to lose its humaneness. It is patently unethical to drop a bomb that kills innocent Palestinians. It is blatantly unethical to wreak vengeance upon innocent bystanders.
It is, on the other hand, supremely ethical to prevent the death of any human being. But if such prevention causes the futile death of others, the ethical foundation for such prevention is lost. A nation that cannot draw the line is doomed eventually to apply unethical measures against its own people. The worst in my mind is not what has already happened but what I am sure one day will. And it will - because the political and military leadership does not even have the most basic integrity to say: "we are sorry". We lost sight of our ethics long before the suicide bombings. The breaking point was when we started to control another nation.
My son Arik was born into a democracy with a chance for a decent, settled life. Arik's killer was born into an appalling occupation, into an ethical chaos. Had my son been born in his stead, he may have ended up doing the same. Had I myself been born into the political and ethical chaos that is the Palestinians' daily reality, I would certainly have tried to kill and hurt the occupier; had I not, I would have betrayed my essence as a free man. Let all the self-righteous who speak of ruthless Palestinian murderers take a hard look in the mirror and ask themselves what they would have done had they been the ones living under occupation. I can say for myself that I, Yitzhak Frankenthal, would have undoubtedly become a freedom fighter and would have killed as many on the other side as I possibly could. It is this depraved hypocrisy that pushes the Palestinians to fight us relentlessly - our double standard that allows us to boast the highest military ethics, while the same military slays innocent children. This lack of ethics is bound to corrupt us.
My son Arik was murdered when he was a soldier by Palestinian fighters who believed in the ethical basis of their struggle against the occupation. My son Arik was not murdered because he was Jewish but because he is part of the nation that occupies the territory of another. I know these are concepts that are unpalatable, but I must voice them loud and clear, because they come from my heart - the heart of a father whose son did not get to live because his people were blinded with power.
As much as I would like to do so, I cannot say that the Palestinians are to blame for my son's death. That would be the easy way out, but it is we, Israelis, who are to blame because of the occupation. Anyone who refuses to heed this awful truth will eventually lead to our destruction.
The Palestinians cannot drive us away - they have long acknowledged our existence. They have been ready to make peace with us; it is we who are unwilling to make peace with them. It is we who insist on maintaining our control over them; it is we who escalate the situation in the region and feed the cycle of bloodshed. I regret to say it, but the blame is entirely ours.
I do not mean to absolve the Palestinians and by no means justify attacks against Israeli civilians. No attack against civilians can be condoned. But as an occupation force it is we who trample over human dignity, it is we who crush the liberty of Palestinians and it is we who push an entire nation to crazy acts of despair.

“Palestinians” are arabs. Nothing more, nothing less. The group that have been labelled “Palestinians” are a tool that other arabs have been using for the ultimate goal – the destruction of Israel. This is very, very hard for “Palestinians” to accept. Can you imagine waking up one morning and figuring out that your identity is nothing more than a tool used by your arab “brothers?”. Very sad indeed. To realise that you are in fact just another Arab, well, that would mean that you in fact should be wondering why all those "friendly" arab countries didn't let you in in the first place.

Thinking such as the one's posted below..stating that their religion is the only true religion,or that all Muslims are evil and hate christians and Jews are exactly the veiws what creates hatred.Being American..I can take a neutral view.1st.There has to be respect and tolerance...for each others differences,
religious or otherwise..otherwise you breed comtempt and hatred.To say God has bequest this land to us..to the Jews or the Palistines is both true.Didn't God,whether Jew or Muslim or Christian, make all Earth for Man? not just a tiny peice of it? I can see why the Palistinians are feeling so hopeless..Just as Jews felt before 1949..No homeland,feeling persecuted..struggling for survival.Don't Israeli's think that Palistinians should have the same hope for the future that Jews had when they created Israel? I hope they do.I hope someday Palistinian and Jew will be able to sit together and embrace each others differences,rather then use it as a stepping stone for war and conflict.

Jews of all backgrounds,

My name is Mark Hollenbaugh; I am not a Jew ethnically or religiously, but a Full Gospel Christian, sixteen-year-old, American old boy. However, as I see the prejudicial persecutions and torments that the Jews are going through today as well as past years, I sympathize with you passionately and that is why I write to you today.
My fellow Judaists, you know and I know that the world looks down upon us as Jews, Christians, Israelis, and Americans with great hatred and we know the hatred and demonic power that drives that satanic religion of Islam. We have tried every thing in the law to fight this hatred and terrorism that rears against us, but we have failed. We have failed because the rest of the world supports Islam and any form of anti-Semitism and fights us when we seek justice for our tortured families. That is why God has placed on my heart to establish an unconventional militia against these anti-Semitists and, most of all, these murderous Muslims.
Obviously I am only a child and can’t do anything big now, but for some reason God has given me such zeal that I feel obligated to start while I am young and find allies now; I cannot just sit around and watch as innocent Christians, Americans, and Israelis get slaughtered through terrorist attacks and that is why I want to fight fire with fire and launch my own “jihad” (if you would pardon the expression) against Muslim, communist, liberal, and these anti-Christ forces of the new world order that we see are beginning to form. I know that what I am describing sounds like a terrorist plot but in reality it is an act of vengeance for God’s people. It is our duty as the people of Yahweh to fight to the death these evil agendas.
Now what I ask of you is that you join me and help me form a militia or group of some sort whose future tasks will be to attack these ant-Semitist groups through unconventional means such as assassination and if necessary violent offensives. I am not a terrorist, but I still want to take up my sword to these possessed causes that are starting to take the world in its grip. I am not sure how to go about this because it is the first time that I have spoken out on it.
